Her Story

My name is YenesS Moore. And before any of this existed — I was on the floor.

Not metaphorically. Literally. On my bathroom floor at 2am, back against the cold tile, tears running down my face, wondering how my life had fallen so completely apart.

I had built everything around a relationship I believed was forever. My identity, my worth, my sense of safety, my entire future — all of it woven into one person. And when that relationship ended, it did not just break my heart. It shattered the entire architecture of who I thought I was.

I was lost in a way that went deeper than sadness. I did not know who I was outside of that relationship. I did not know if I was loveable. I did not know if I had a future worth looking forward to. I did not even know, in that moment, if God was real.

And then — in the most honest moment of my entire life — I prayed.

“God, if You are real — if You are actually there — I need You right now. I have nothing left.”

He was there. Not in a lightning bolt. Not in a dramatic vision. But in a quiet, undeniable presence that settled over me like warmth. A stillness that said: I see you. I have been here the whole time. And this — this is not the end of your story.

That night changed everything.

The Season That Built Everything

The months after that night were not easy. Healing never is. But they were holy.

I learned that grief is not the opposite of faith — it is one of the most honest expressions of it. That God can handle your tears, your anger, your questions, and your doubt.

I learned that your identity was never meant to be built on another person. When the relationship ended, I had to discover who I was in God alone. And that discovery — painful as it was — became the most solid ground I had ever stood on.

I learned that your pain has a purpose. The comfort you receive in your own darkness becomes the exact comfort you will one day pour into someone else’s.

That last truth is why EmpowerHerFaith exists.

After a devastating heartbreak that shook her identity to the core, YenesS spent a season in the kind of darkness that strips away every pretence and leaves you with nothing but the truth of who you are — and who God is.

Today, YenesS dedicates her platform, her voice and her creative work to every woman who has ever sat in her car and cried because she did not know how to go inside. To every woman who has stared at the ceiling at 3am wondering if the pain would ever end.
